Jeddah · Makkah Region

Jeddah moves goods for the west of the Kingdom. Keep every carton on one system.

Jeddah is the Kingdom’s Red Sea gateway: imports land at Jeddah Islamic Port, are stored around the city, and go out to Makkah, Taif and the towns along the coast. Demand rises sharply in Ramadan and the Hajj and Umrah seasons. SynTrack keeps the port-fed stock, the routes and the finance on one Arabic-first database.

Implementation is on-site and remote from Dubai, with a written visit plan.

Distribution in the Makkah region

What a Jeddah operation has to handle.

Western-region distribution is shaped by the port, a long coastal city and a calendar with sharp peaks. These are the pressures SynTrack is configured around.

PRT

Port-fed stock

Containers cleared at Jeddah Islamic Port land in warehouses around the city. Landed cost — freight, duty, clearing — flows into item cost so margins are true.

PK

Seasonal peaks

Ramadan, Hajj and Umrah bring sharp swings in food, water and consumer-goods demand. Stock, reorder points and route plans need to move with them.

RTE

Makkah, Taif and the coast

Routes run from Jeddah to Makkah, up to Taif and along the coast. Signal drops on the way — the van app works offline and syncs later.

CTY

A long coastal city

Jeddah stretches a long way north to south. Journey plans keep each route’s visits in order so vans are not crossing the city twice.

EXP

Expiry-sensitive goods

Food, beverage and pharmacy distribution need batch and expiry control from the warehouse to the van shelf.

ع/E

Arabic-first teams

Screens, documents and training in Arabic and English for warehouse, field and finance teams.

A working day on SynTrack

One day at a Jeddah distributor.

An illustrative day for a port-fed distributor in the west — the way SynTrack is set up for Jeddah and the routes around it.

  1. Early morning

    Port shipment received

A container cleared at Jeddah Islamic Port is received into the warehouse; freight, duty and clearing charges are added as landed cost.

  2. Morning

    Vans loaded by route

City, Makkah and Taif vans are loaded against approved load requests, with batch and expiry visible on every line.

  3. Midday

    Selling across the city

Drivers follow journey plans along the coast, check credit before selling on terms and issue bilingual invoices at the door.

  4. Afternoon

    Makkah and Taif runs

Vans on the Makkah and Taif routes keep invoicing offline where signal drops, and sync when they are back in coverage.

  5. Late afternoon

    Reorder before the peak

Purchasing sees sales velocity and stock in real time, and raises orders ahead of seasonal demand.

  6. Evening

    Day close

Vans close the day — sales, cash and stock reconciled — and finance sees collections and receivables for the whole region.

Saudi VAT & ZATCA

Compliance for Jeddah businesses, explained plainly.

Saudi Arabia charges VAT at 15%, and tax invoices must be issued in Arabic — they may also carry English. SynTrack produces every invoice, credit note and statement in Arabic and English on the same document, in SAR.

ZATCA’s e-invoicing programme (FATOORA) runs in two phases. Phase 1, the generation phase, has applied since 4 December 2021: invoices must be generated and stored electronically, and simplified (B2C) invoices carry a QR code. Phase 2, the integration phase, began on 1 January 2023 and is rolled out in waves; ZATCA notifies each business of its wave in advance, and invoices are then integrated with the FATOORA platform.

Synergia Soft is listed in ZATCA’s Solution Providers Directory for Phase 1. ZATCA describes the directory as an indicative list, not an approval or certification. For Phase 2, we scope your obligations against your business profile and wave during discovery and confirm the supported setup in writing before you commit.

P2

Questions

SynTrack in Jeddah & the Makkah Region — FAQs.

Do you work with businesses in Jeddah?

Yes. We work with clients in Jeddah and the Makkah region, and Saudi businesses including Barik International, ARS, Pro Serve and Hadeel run their operations on SynTrack. Implementation is on-site and remote from Dubai, with a written visit plan.

How does SynTrack handle import costs through Jeddah port?

Freight, duty and clearing charges are added to the shipment as landed cost and flow into item cost, so selling prices and margins reflect what the goods really cost.

Can it cope with Ramadan, Hajj and Umrah peaks?

SynTrack shows stock, sales velocity and reorder points in real time, so purchasing and route plans can be adjusted as demand rises — and the same system scales back afterwards.

Does SynTrack handle Saudi VAT and ZATCA e-invoicing?

VAT documents are produced in Arabic and English. Synergia Soft is listed in ZATCA’s Solution Providers Directory for Phase 1 (e-invoice generation); Phase 2 obligations depend on your business profile and are scoped and confirmed in writing.

Will the van app work on routes to Makkah and Taif?

Yes. The van sales app is offline-first: drivers keep selling, invoicing and collecting with no signal, and everything syncs when coverage returns.

How long does an implementation take?

A typical first phase follows the plan on this page: discovery in week 1, configuration and data migration in weeks 2–4, training in week 5, then a parallel run — ideally scheduled away from the seasonal peak.

Can SynTrack track batches and expiry dates?

Yes. Batch and expiry are tracked from receiving to the van shelf, so near-expiry stock is visible and can be sold or returned in time.

Can we move from our current system or spreadsheets?

Yes. Masters and opening balances are migrated with trial loads and reconciliation before cut-over, and the old and new systems run in parallel until the numbers match.
